Thanks to Parish Administrator, Catriona Cuthbert, permission was granted to lay flowers in St Mary in Charity, Faversham, on Europe Day.
For a parish church, it’s quite big. Yet at the same time, the church is arranged in such a way, that there are areas with different functions eg coffee, children and exhibition space while remaining part of the church and in view of any service going on. The interior seems to have had a C18th makeover at some point. The tower is just extraordinary.
St Mary in Charity is a hidden gem and seems to be very much at the heart of the community. St Mary in Charity, Faversham website
