Margaret M Dunlop, author of Marching in Scotland, Dancing in New York and Blind Date in Gibraltar will be talking about her latest book, Goodbye Berlin: The Biography of  Gerald Wiener. Margaret M Dunlop, a Glaswegian teacher, met Gerald Wiener in Edinburgh and married him in 1985. Gerald was one of thousands of children saved from persecution by the Nazis, by the Kindertransport programme, leaving Berlin, aged twelves, in March 1939, just months before the beginning of World War 2. Gerald Wiener had a distinguished career and a team in his department cloned Dolly the sheep.
