Another opportunity for noise and flag-waving presents itself.. the launch of the Institute for Free Trade, supposedly a private, not-for-profit non-partisan research foundation.
Wednesday 27 September 2017 17:30 – 19:30 BST
Foreign & Commonwealth Office
King Charles Street
Strictly by invitation and registration only.
The former prime ministers Tony Abbott (of Australia) and José Maria Aznar (of Spain), (a director of News Corporation), along with former President Jorge Quiroga (of Bolivia) and Republican Senator for Nebraska, Ben Sasse, make up the International Advisory Panel.
The Executive Board is comprised of Jon Moynihan as Chairman and Alan Halsall, former Joint Chairman of Business for Britain as Deputy Chairman.
President of the newly minted Institute of Free Trade is Daniel J Hannan MEP.
Bodger Johnson, Liam Fox, Hannan and the Icelandic Minister for Foreign Affairs (whose name the keyboard can’t cope with, sorry) will be speechifying between 18:00 – 18:30 if anyone wants to wave flags and get noisy.
