If you want gold baubles and beadchains for your tree or wreath, you can pick them up pretty much everywhere, at prices to suit your budget. although Dunelm 100 piece bauble multipack at £20.00 is comprised of golds and blues, with gold stars.

If you have kids, pets or unstable relies, do check the details, as some of the baubles may be glass, without this being immediately apparent.

Families are either Tinsel, Bauble or Both. If you can’t bear tinsel on your tree, try compromising and winding it around your banisters, with a clutch of baubles each end. Or, for more minimalistic tinsel usage, attach a bauble each end and drape over any framed prints or paintings or use as a scarf if you have a mannequin, statue or stag’s head type sculpture.

If you need a project for the kids, how about lashing out £1.00 at Poundland for an ice blue metallic tinsel wreath for the front door and letting them decorate it  ? Or go crazy and do one for every door in the house. It might be advisable to stock up on blue and gold spray paint, sooner rather than later, before it runs out. If you haven’t used spray paint before, probably better to spray outdoors. Also, if you’re spraying something quite fine, you want to make sure to get a bit further away, so that the piece gets a fine spray not globs and keep shaking the can ! You may end up with Spray Paint Arm, before Christmas. The cure is rest and plenty of gin 😉
